1. Progressive Die Stamping
Progressive stamping is a metalworking method that can encompass punching, coining, bending and several other ways of modifying metal raw material, combined with an automatic feeding system. Progressive die stamping is ideal for long runs, because the dies last a long time without becoming damaged, and the process is highly repeatable.
PTJ is progressive die stampings custom manufacturer . Available with 1/8 in. to 0.005 in. thickness and 5 tons to 150 tons capacity. Various capabilities include assembly, deburring, plating, heat treating, riveting, welding, tapping and staking. Short run to high volume production can be done. Applications include brackets, clamps, clips, connectors, contacts, cups, flat springs, levers, mounting plates, retainers, strain reliefs and terminals. Lean manufacturing capable.JIT delivery.
2. Deep Drawing Stamping
Deep drawing involves pulling a sheet metal blank into the die via a punch, forming it into a shape.Deep drawing is a specialized metal stamping process to produce deep, hollow three-dimensional shapes.
Deep drawing services for metals such as aluminum, brass, carbon steel, copper, and stainless steel. Capable of handling parts with up to 0.625 in. thickness, up to 38 in. length and width, up to 24 in. depth, and up to 1000 tons weight. Available in prototypes to high volume production runs. Assembly, consulting, design, engineering, and finishing services are provided. Serves various industries such as agricultural, biotechnology, foodservice, marine, and telecom equipment.
3. Fine Blanking
Fine blanking, also known as fine-edge blanking, is valuable for providing high accuracy and smooth edges. Usually done on a hydraulic or mechanical press, or by a combination of the two, fine blanking operations consist of three distinct movements:
- >>> Clamping of the work piece or work material in place
- >>> Performance of the blanking operation
- >>> Ejection of the finished part
- >>> Fine blanking presses operate at higher pressures than those used in conventional stamping operations, hence tools and machinery need to be designed with these higher operating pressures in mind.
PTJ produces a variety of copper-based, precious metal and ferrous metal components such as battery cable connectors, brackets, electronic shielding components, lead frames, press-fit pins, terminals and more used in many fields. The parts featured in this photo gallery are some of the many quality precision parts we’ve produced for our customers over the past 20 years we’ve been in business. Whether it be a miniature part or large stamped component, we are capable of producing a wide range of electrical connectors and other stamped parts to meet your strict specifications.
- – Stamping is mostly used for thin-walled and plate parts with complex shapes, and can make it high in strength, rigid, and light in weight
- – The surface of the stamping parts is smooth and has sufficient dimensional accuracy to meet general interchangeability requirements
- – Simple and rapid operation, easy to realize automation, high productivity
- – The manufacture of stamping dies is complicated, and the cost of stamping parts can be reduced only when mass stamping is produced.
PTJ customers have the freedom to specify components in hundreds of different metals and alloys, while enjoying a single high standard of confidence in PTJ ’s ability to deliver as promised.
Upholding this standard requires an exceptional commitment to manufacturing resources. The wide variety of machining technology options in the PTJ Stamping machine library is supported by an in-house tooling capability that adapts tools to the unique characteristics of each material. Behind it all is a staff of engineers and machining experts with a 20+ year track record of adapting to both new alloys and tried-and-true materials.
